Willow Tree Giant arrived today. What a wonderful model. I love his slightly bewildered expression like he is thinking 'Who woke me up?', before mercilessly (if creakily!) attacking the interlopers in a grumpy old tree kind of way. Casting is very clean, nice pre-drilled holes (needs a bit of extra drilling in places) but no extreme filing or filling needed.
I spent a lot of time as a boy sitting up in the willow tree in my garden, I will have a very happy time making this model.
G Peters says
My goodness, what a treat, I opened my two giants today and what a wonderful pair of models. They put all other 'tree-giant' models in the woodland shade.
G Peters says
Just ordered Birch and Linden Giant- will you be making more Willow Giants?
Sam Smith says
Just received the three tree giants in the post and i have to say i'm highly impressed, the price, the shipping and most importantly the models themselves are to a high standard, the only gripe i have is the style of base that is packaged with the models although that can easily be rectified. Preparing these three beauties at the moment so they can stand proudly beside my games workshop treebeard as soon as possible, superior in every way to the lord of the rings ents especially in price, size and diversity. Also planning on purchasing the other models on the site and looking forward to the released of Albert.

Dave, the Willow Tree miniature arrived today and as I have been with the other Tree Giants, I am utterly thrilled by this bugger! :)
Great job on the sculpt and fantastic customer service as always!! Thanks again Dave and look forward to the next Tree Giant model!

First and foremost!!! I have been an avid collector of the Games Workshop Lord of the Rings miniature collection.
However, I eagerly awaited GW to produce an 'excellent' selection of Ents, unfortunately and most disappointedly, their offering was pretty damn poor and more 'Warhammerish' than 'LOTR' !
By chance, I came across this very unique sculptor of miniatures and was astounded by his level of skill in such a short amount of time in the hobby!
Watching a thread where he showed me the different stages of putting his Wood Giant together from start to finish, I knew from the offset that this could be used as an Ent for the LOTR range, and furthermore, it simply knocked the pants off anything GW had created so far, even to the degree that I think it is better than GW's Treebeard !!!
My advice to anyone reading this, BUY ONE! you will not be disappointed !!!

Another "Wow".
Very treelike. You have a hand for sculpting and an eye for nature.
I will see where I can push the treemen into my orderline :-)
Corsair says
The Willow tree giant is just great - it really has a 'tree' esque feel to it.
The same applies to all of the tree herders to be honest.
You really have depicted the trees well, and they are garaunteed to sell - they put the GW ones to shame :-)
TheBucklandBrewer says
Hey Dave!

The tree giant and the bear have both arrived safe and sound here in Berlin - fantastic models with very nice themed bases!
Great to hear the pre-Christmas sale has gone well. Looking forward to an expanded range of Majestic Bear models in 2008.
Barliman says
The Birch Tree Giant is superb - a really excellent model, overflowing with character. Astonishingly fast delivery too, for which many thanks. I can't wait to see more of your work if it's all going to be up to this standard! Neat easy-to-use website too - congrats.
Dorthonion says
I was after the bear anyway but with the extra discount, another Birch Giant was just too good to resist (I foresee some conversion work...)
shadow_from_the_east says
WOW That`s amazing!!!I cannot say anything else. I hope that you`ll sculpt some more miniatures and they`ll be able to buy...in Poland...(dreams;D)
Amarthadan says
Hey, the site looks brilliant and so do the (maxi-)mini's.
Good luck with the burly woodsman!
Amarthadan
Dorthonion says
The Giant is huge and 'Birchie' is so cute in a sort of solemn fashion - I love them to bits!
Now this may sound like splitting hairs but people who split a lot of logs manually do it with a conical spike and a sledgehammer - axes are fine for a lot of work but cannot cope with knots. They just get jammed in there.
Any chance of some other burly woodsmen?
Padelis says
Well done! Great minis I especially like the Bear.
SamFrodoAndSome says

Congrats on getting the site up and running Dave! Very professional and well put together! Now it's a matter of me scraping together a few dollars so I can buy that Tree Giant I have been wanting. :D
King Elessar says
Wow! Worth the wait. Miniatures look brilliant.
tar elendil says
this is a great website you should make a smaug
or goblins on wolfs the whole hobbit idea
The Dark Trooper says
Great work ukfreddybear, I have been looking forward to the launching of this website and I must say it was well worth the wait. Good Job!
JTR says
Very nice sculpting in the burly woodsman, but the design has a major logical flaw. I realize that a sawed wood stump is pretty -- you can show off the wood grain --but how could a woodsman with an ax make such a clean cut?
Dorthonion says
Marvellous to see the site up - love the minis (bigatures really gven their size). Will have to figure out where to put them as my room is an official disaster area... Order to follow SOON! Best of luck!
Matthew Griffin says
YAY!!! IT HAS COME
Deburdles says
